ASMC Receives Accreditation for New Abuja Facility

ASMC is proud to announce that its state-of-the-art Abuja manufacturing facility has received full accreditation from the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) and passed rigorous international audit requirements.

The cleanroom operations — spanning ISO Class 7 and Class 8 environments — have been verified to meet the stringent requirements for advanced semiconductor assembly, packaging, and testing.

What This Means

This certification positions ASMC as one of the very few facilities on the African continent capable of manufacturing high-assurance electronic components under internationally recognised quality standards.

Operations are expected to scale significantly over the next 12 months, with capacity expansions planned for both the SIM card personalisation lines and the chip-on-board (COB) module assembly units.
